Managing Absenteeism
Effectively managing absenteeism, the growing problem of unscheduled absences, requires that the company recognize that the issue is a problem and then develop a plan to address the issue and solve the problem.
Absenteeism is costly for both employees and employers.
The employee may not be paid for taking excessive time off or may even lose their job for calling in sick or for other absences.
In fact, under some circumstances, an employee can be fired for no reason.
This MANAGING ABSENTEEISM Course will guide HR and Management to build a strategic plan to manage employee attendance with a major objective to reduce employee absences so that workers are consistently present to do their jobs and be more productive for the benefit of the organization.

To implement the Performance Reviews that give the employer an opportunity to address absenteeism issues;

To implement an effective Absenteeism Management plan in the workforce;
To deal with the employees who are absent, how to look for and recognize patterns of absence that may indicate a problem that may need referral or one that may need disciplinary action; AND
To monitor and enforce the plan and develop corrective action for problems encountered.
